Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

On your phone by default. Ebb has no accounts and runs its predictions on your device. iCloud backup and Apple Health sync are both optional and stay off until you turn them on in Settings → Data & Trust.

How do I back up my data, or move to a new iPhone?

Turn on iCloud backup in Settings → Data & Trust. Your data then syncs through your own private iCloud account, so it is available when you sign in to the same Apple ID on a new device.

How do I export my history?

Go to Settings → Data & Trust and choose Export CSV or Export PDF. The PDF is formatted to share with a clinician.

What does Ebb Premium include?

Premium adds deeper analysis computed on your phone: symptom forecasts for your next cycle, a regularity trend, all of your symptom-by-phase patterns, and a doctor-prep report. Predictions, logging, the calendar, and backup are always free.

How do I start the free trial, or restore a purchase?

Open the Insights tab and tap any locked card, or go to Settings → Subscription, then choose a plan. If you have already subscribed on another device, tap Restore Purchases on the same screen.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Ebb Premium, and cancel there. Cancelling stops future renewals and never deletes your data.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes its on-device data. If you turned on iCloud backup, also remove Ebb's data from iCloud in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud. Within the app, the Recently Deleted area keeps removed entries recoverable for 30 days.

Is Ebb medical advice?

No. Ebb is a wellness and self-tracking tool. Its predictions are estimates with a stated uncertainty and can be wrong. Ebb does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a method of contraception. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health.
